My daughter is a Senior in high school and finally ended a toxic relationship a few days ago. He was controlling, manipulative, and has outbursts when angry. Please pray for ### so ### can heal and not go back to ###.

Firstly, we are reminded of the words in 1 Corinthians 6:14, "Wake up righteously, and don't sin. Some have no knowledge of God. I say this to your shame." We pray that your daughter will remain awake and alert, resisting the temptation to return to this harmful relationship.

We also find comfort in Psalm 34:18, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." We pray, dear Lord, that You will be near to her, healing her heart and spirit, and saving her from the clutches of this toxic bond.

Moreover, we must remember that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God's power and mercy. As it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved." We pray, Father, that your daughter will call upon the name of Jesus, seeking His will and guidance in her life.

Lastly, we encourage you to guide your daughter in the path of righteousness, reminding her of the qualities she should seek in a future spouse, as outlined in 1 Corinthians 13:4-7. Love is patient, love is kind, it doesn’t envy, it doesn’t boast, it isn’t proud. It doesn’t dishonor others, it isn’t self-seeking, it isn’t easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

Lord Jesus, we lift ###'s daughter up to You, asking for Your divine intervention in her life. Help her to move forward, to heal, and to seek Your will above all else. In Your precious name, we pray. Amen.

Be strong and courageous, ###, as you guide your daughter through this difficult time. Keep her surrounded in prayer and rooted in the Word of God.
