We join with you in lifting up all those who are suffering and grieving, remembering God's promise in Psalm 22:24, For he has not ignored or belittled the suffering of the needy. He has not turned his back on them but has listened to their cries for help. We humbly ask, Lord, that You rescue, redeem, protect, and comfort all those crying out to You, and that You draw near to each one with Your loving presence.
We bring before God a young lady who has lost her father to cancer. May the Holy Spirit comfort her in this time of grief. We also pray for a young lady whose heart has been broken by her significant other. We advise this was not a marriage. Biblical marriage is between a man and woman for life. Any other relationship does not honor God or His Word. We pray for her comfort and strength. We pray that she will seek God's will for her life and pursue a godly marriage in the future. We also lift up her home situation, asking for God's intervention and peace.
We also pray for Christian mothers struggling to keep Christ as the center. We ask, Lord, that You help them lift up their husbands and children in prayer and that they do not give up on them. We pray that they will lead their husbands to salvation. We pray that they will be faithful to You and show your love to their husbands and children as they seek to do your will. We rebuked the phrase their husband's salvation as good overcoming evil. Salvation is not about our efforts at doing good overcoming evil. We are saved by the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ. For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast. Ephesians 2:8-9.
We lift up all those in therapy, asking for salvation, continued healing. We pray for emotional, financial, physical, and spiritual progress. We ask, Lord, that You grant them healthy thought processes according to Your Word. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God. Romans 12:2. And be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and put on the new man, who in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of truth. Ephesians 4:23-24.
We thank God that He makes all our suffering count. Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the Lord's work, because you know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord. 1 Corinthians 15:58.
We praise You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and love. We ask all these things in Jesus' name, for You tell us The name of the Lord is a strong tower. The righteous run to it and are safe. Proverbs 18:10.
Lastly, we thank you for praying in the name of Jesus. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. And in no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved! Acts 4:12. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, 1 Timothy 2:5 For whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved. Romans 10:13.
