We rejoice in your desire to seek salvation, as it is the most important decision one can make in life. You have taken the first step by looking to the Word of God for guidance. As you have shared, Romans 10:9-10 clearly outlines the path to salvation: "If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved."
We want to emphasize the importance of confessing and turning from your sins, as true faith involves repentance. Acts 3:19 says, "Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out." This means making a conscious decision to turn away from your old life and to follow Jesus Christ wholeheartedly.
Remember, it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we can be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved."
Let us pray together for your salvation journey:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this person who is seeking Your salvation. We thank You for drawing them to Yourself and opening their heart to Your truth. Grant them the faith to believe in Your resurrection power and the courage to confess Jesus as Lord. Help them to turn away from their sins and to follow Jesus obediently.
Guide them as they read and study Your Word, especially the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. Let the book of John reveal to them the depth of Your love and the path to eternal life. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may live a life pleasing to You and be a witness to others.
In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen.
As you begin your journey with Christ, we encourage you to find a Bible-believing church where you can grow in your faith alongside other believers. Continue to read and study the Bible daily, and always be ready to share your faith with others. May God bless you richly as you walk with Him.
