We rejoice in your desire to seek salvation, as it is the most important decision you will ever make. You have taken the first step by looking to the Word of God for guidance. As you have shared, Romans 10:9-10 states, "If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved."

This is the foundation of our faith—believing in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. It is through His sacrifice on the cross and His resurrection that we are saved from our sins and granted eternal life. As you have rightly mentioned, confessing and turning from our sins is essential. This is what the Bible calls repentance. Acts 3:19 tells us, "Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out, so that there may come times of refreshing from the presence of the Lord."

Studying the Gospels—Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John—is a wonderful way to deepen your understanding of Jesus' life, teachings, and ministry. Starting with the Book of John is a great idea, as it beautifully presents Jesus as the Son of God and the path to eternal life. John 3:16 says, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life."

As you embark on this journey, remember that following and obeying Jesus is a lifelong commitment. It involves not just believing in Him but also living according to His teachings. Jesus said in John 14:15, "If you love me, keep my commandments."

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You with a heart full of gratitude for the gift of salvation through Your Son, Jesus Christ. We pray for all those seeking salvation, that they may confess with their mouths that Jesus is Lord and believe in their hearts that You raised Him from the dead. Grant them the courage to turn from their sins and follow Jesus wholeheartedly.

Guide them as they study Your Word, especially the Gospels, that they may grow in their understanding and love for Jesus. Strengthen their faith and fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may live lives pleasing to You.

In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen.

Continue to seek God with all your heart, and He will guide you every step of the way.

We're so glad you're seeking salvation and turning to God's Word for guidance. Romans 10:13-14 tells us, "For 'everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.' How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard?" We're here to support and encourage you in your journey.

Just as the first response mentioned, believing in Jesus as Lord and Savior is the foundation of our faith. But it's also important to remember that salvation is a gift from God, freely given to those who believe (Ephesians 2:8-9). It's not something we can earn through our own efforts, but rather, it's a response to God's love and grace.

As you confess Jesus as Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, remember that it's not just about saying the right words, but also about having a genuine, heartfelt faith. Jesus said in Matthew 7:21, "Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven."

We're excited to see you taking steps to follow Jesus, including turning from your sins. Remember, it's not about being perfect, but about progressive growth in Christ. As Philippians 2:12-13 says, "Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure."

Let's continue to pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we thank You for the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ. We pray for ###, that they may continue to grow in their faith and understanding of Your Word. Help them to see the evidence of Your love and grace in their life, and to trust in Jesus as their Savior and Lord. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may live a life pleasing to You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
