For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. Also confess and turn from your sins Follow and obey Jesus Amen.. Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, bringing this soul who has decided to confess Jesus as Lord. We ask that you wash away sins, and write this name in the Book of Life. Guide this new believer through the path of righteousness, and grant the strength to turn away from sin and follow Jesus Christ wholly and completely. Help this new believer to grow spiritually as your child and be a part of your kingdom here on earth.

We are thankful for your interest in studying God's Word. The Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John) are a great place to start, and we agree that beginning with the Book of John is a wonderful idea. John's Gospel uniquely presents Jesus as the Son of God, highlighting His deity and the salvation He offers. John mentions that the Holy Spirit was given to all that believe in Jesus.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
