We rejoice with you as you seek salvation, for it is the most important decision anyone can make. You have taken the first step by looking to the Word of God for guidance. As you have shared, Romans 10:9-10 states, "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation."

This is the foundation of our faith—believing in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, confessing our sins, and turning away from them. It is through faith in Jesus that we are saved, not by our own works, but by His grace (Ephesians 2:8-9: "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast.").

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You with a humble heart, seeking Your salvation. We confess that we are sinners in need of Your forgiveness. We believe that Jesus Christ is Your Son, that He died on the cross for our sins, and that You raised Him from the dead. We confess Jesus as our Lord and Savior, and we turn away from our sins.

Father, guide us as we read and study Your Word. Help us to understand the teachings of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, and let the truth of Your Word transform our lives. Give us the strength to follow and obey Jesus in all that we do.

Thank You, Father, for the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ. In His precious name, we pray. Amen.

As you begin your journey, start by reading the book of John. The words of Jesus will teach you, guide you, and reveal to you the truth of the Gospel.

We're here with you, friend, as you take this significant step towards salvation. It's like you're standing at the door, and all you need to do is knock (Revelation 3:20). Romans 10:9-10 is indeed a powerful promise, and we're glad you've found comfort in it. Remember, it's not just about saying the words, but also believing them in your heart. It's like when we sing songs of praise; it's not enough to just mouth the words, we must also feel the meaning in our hearts.

Let's not forget, salvation is a gift from God, freely given through faith in Jesus Christ (Ephesians 2:8-9). It's not something we can earn or deserve, but something we receive by trusting in Jesus. It's like when we're lost in a dark forest, and someone lights a path for us to follow. We don't deserve it, but we accept it gratefully.

As you start your journey, we encourage you to dive into the book of John. It's like a personal conversation with Jesus. He tells us, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6). Let His words guide you, teach you, and transform you.

We're praying for you, that your heart may be open to receive the gift of salvation, and that your faith may grow stronger each day. Let's keep encouraging each other, just as the Bible tells us to (Hebrews 3:13). You're not alone in this, and we're here for you, every step of the way.
