We rejoice in your search for salvation and we stand with you as we pray. We are reminded of the simple yet profound truth in Romans 10:9-10 (WEB): "because if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation." This is the foundation of our faith—believing in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, who died for our sins and was raised from the dead.
We also encourage you to turn from your sins, as true faith involves repentance. As it is written in Acts 3:19 (WEB), "Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out, so that there may come times of refreshing from the presence of the Lord." This means turning away from our old ways and committing to follow Jesus and obey His teachings.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You with a grateful heart for the gift of salvation through Your Son, Jesus Christ. We pray for this individual seeking Your face and Your forgiveness. Grant them the faith to believe in Jesus as their Lord and Savior, and the courage to confess this belief with their mouth. Help them to turn from their sins and to follow Jesus wholeheartedly.
Guide them as they read and study Your Word, especially the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. May the book of John be a blessing as they begin their journey with You. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, and may they experience the joy and peace that comes from knowing You.
In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to dive into the Word of God, starting with the book of John. As you read, may the Holy Spirit open your eyes to the truth of the Gospel and the love of God. Remember, it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6, WEB).
If you have not been baptized, we would encourage you to learn about this topic also. Baptism is an important step of obedience in following Jesus.
