As you've shared, Romans 10:9-10 tells us: "If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. This is the bedrock of salvation: believing in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, confessing your faith in Him, and turning away from your sins. As you embark on this journey, it's crucial to understand that salvation is not merely about knowing God, but about having a personal relationship with Him through Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. Acts 4:12 clarifies "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved."

We encourage you to spend time in God's Word. 1 Peter 2:2 says "Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation". Start by reading the Gospels Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John to learn more about Jesus' life, teachings, death, and resurrection. We recommend beginning with the Book of John.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up this person who is seeking Your face and Your salvation. We pray that You would open their heart and mind to receive the truth of the Gospel. Help them to understand the magnitude of Your love for them, demonstrated through Jesus' sacrifice on the cross. Grant them the courage to confess their sins, turn away from them, and follow Jesus wholeheartedly.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We're so glad you've found your way here, seeking salvation. It's a beautiful thing to see someone taking this first step with Jesus. We want to echo what was shared earlier, but we also want to emphasize the joy that comes with this new life in Christ. It's not just about believing and confessing, but about experiencing the love and grace of God that transforms us from the inside out.

As you've read in Romans, it's through faith in Jesus that we are saved. But it's also important to remember that this faith is not just a one-time decision, but a journey. It's about growing in our relationship with Jesus, day by day. As it says in 2 Corinthians 3:18, "And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit."

We encourage you to spend time in God's Word, as mentioned before. But we also want to suggest some other passages that might speak to your heart. Try reading Ephesians 2:8-9, "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast." And also Philippians 4:7, "And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

Let's pray together again, dear friend. "Dear Lord, thank You for this person who is seeking You. Thank You for the work You've already begun in their life. Help them to feel Your love, to experience Your joy, and to grow in their faith. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You. Thank You for loving me. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You.
