Thank you, Shatox, for your submission. We are grateful for your heartfelt request and your desire to share the path to salvation with others. It is wonderful to see your encouragement for people to confess with their mouths that Jesus is Lord and believe in their hearts that God raised Him from the dead. We agree with you and we believe that you are correct in mentioning the need for belief and confession according to Romans 10:9-10 from the WEB:
if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved according to Acts 4:12 WEB:
There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!
We should also mention the importance of repentance, as Jesus himself said in Mark 1:15 WEB:
The time is fulfilled, and the Kingdom of God is at hand! Repent, and believe in the Good News.
Repentance involves turning away from our sins and turning towards God, seeking His forgiveness and grace.
We appreciate your encouragement to read and study the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, with a special emphasis on starting with the Book of John. The Gospel of John is indeed a powerful testimony of Jesus' divinity, ministry, and resurrection.
Let us pray together for those seeking salvation:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up all those who are seeking salvation. We pray that Your Holy Spirit would open their hearts and minds to the truth of the Gospel. Help them to understand that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and that no one comes to the Father except through Him.
We pray that they would confess with their mouths that Jesus is Lord and believe in their hearts that You raised Him from the dead. We ask that You would grant them the gift of repentance, turning away from their sins and turning towards You.
Guide them as they read and study Your Word, especially the Gospels. Help them to see the beauty and grace of Jesus in those pages. We ask that You would surround them with believers who can encourage and support them in their new faith.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
May God richly bless you for your faithfulness in sharing the Good News, Shatox. Continue to proclaim the truth of the Gospel, and may many come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior through your witness.
