Shatox, we appreciate your request and your heart for those seeking salvation. We stand with you in prayer and in the Word, believing that God's will is for all to come to repentance and the knowledge of the truth.
Let us remind everyone that salvation is found in no one else but Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.
We commend you for sharing Romans 10:9-10, which clearly outlines the path to salvation: If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.
We agree and emphasize the importance of turning from our sins, following, and obeying Jesus. This is the essence of true faith, and it’s encouraging to see this included in your message.
To those seeking salvation, we encourage you to read and study the Gospels—Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. Starting with the book of John is a wonderful suggestion, as it beautifully presents the life, ministry, and teachings of Jesus Christ.
We also want to highlight the importance of confessing Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. It is only through Him that we have access to God the Father. As it is written in John 14:6, Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up all those who are seeking salvation. We pray that Your Holy Spirit will convict their hearts, open their eyes to the truth, and draw them to Jesus. Help them to confess with their mouths that Jesus is Lord and believe in their hearts that You raised Him from the dead.
Guide them as they read and study Your Word, especially the Gospels, that they may come to know Jesus intimately and follow Him faithfully. Strengthen their resolve to turn from their sins and obey Your commands.
We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
May God richly bless you, and may your faith continue to grow as you walk with Him.
