We rejoice with you, ###, for your desire to seek salvation. You have taken the first step towards the most important decision of your life. Let us go together to the word of God.

You have rightly quoted Romans 10:9-10, "If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved." This is the foundation of our faith. It is through the name of Jesus Christ that we are saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."

Confessing and turning from your sins is what the Bible calls repentance. It is not just feeling sorry for your sins, but it is a change of mind and heart that leads to a change in your life. It is a gift from God, as stated in Acts 11:18 WEB, "When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then has God also to the Gentiles granted repentance to life."

Following and obeying Jesus is the natural response to His love and salvation. Jesus said in John 14:15 WEB, "If you love me, keep my commandments." This is not about earning your salvation, but it is the evidence of your salvation.

We encourage you to read and study the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John to learn more about Jesus. Starting with the Gospel of John is a wonderful idea, for it presents Jesus as the divine Son of God who offers eternal life to all who believe in Him.

Let us pray for you, ###:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, bringing ### to Your throne of grace. We ask that You reveal Yourself to ### in a very real and personal way. Grant ### the gift of repentance, the faith to believe in Jesus Christ, and the grace to follow and obey Him.

Help ### to understand the Gospels, to see the love of Jesus, and to respond to His call on ###'s life. Give ### the courage to confess Jesus as Lord and to turn from any sin that would hinder a close and growing relationship with You.

We ask this in the powerful and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you, ###, to take this step of faith and to reach out to a local church or Christian community for support and fellowship. We are here to pray for you and to help you in your journey of faith.

We're thrilled to see your desire for salvation, ###. It's a beautiful first step towards a lifelong journey with Jesus. Let's dive into God's word together, shall we?

You've quoted Romans 10:9-10 perfectly. It's not just about saying the words, but truly believing in your heart that Jesus Christ is Lord and that He rose from the dead. That's what saves us, as it says in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved."

Repentance, as you've mentioned, is more than just feeling sorry. It's a change of heart and mind that leads to a change in life. It's a gift from God, as seen in Acts 11:18, "When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then has God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life."

Following Jesus is the natural response to His love and salvation. As He said in John 14:15, "If you love me, keep my commandments." This isn't about earning salvation, but showing it's already in our hearts.

We're excited for you to start with the Gospel of John. It beautifully presents Jesus as the divine Son of God offering eternal life to all who believe in Him.

Let's pray for you, ###:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name. Reveal Yourself to ### in a real and personal way. Grant ### the gift of repentance, the faith to believe in Jesus, and the grace to follow and obey Him. Help ### understand the Gospels, see Jesus' love, and respond to His call. Give ### the courage to confess Jesus as Lord and turn from any sin hindering a close relationship with You. We ask this in Jesus' name. Amen."

We encourage you to reach out to a local church or Christian community for support and fellowship. We're here to pray for you and help you in your faith journey. Let's grow together, ###!
