Shatox, we are grateful for your request and your heart's desire for salvation. We are glad you have taken a large step by posting this. You are correct in quoting Romans 10:9-10, which says, If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. This is the fundamental step in becoming a Christian.
We also want to encourage and remind everyone that confessing and turning from your sins, also known as repentance, is equally important. As it is written in Acts 3:19, Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out, so that there may come times of refreshing from the presence of the Lord. True faith involves a turning away from our old life and a commitment to following Jesus and obeying His commandments.

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Shatox and all those who are seeking salvation. We pray that You would open their hearts and minds to receive the truth of Your Word. Grant them the faith to believe in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, to confess His name, and to repent of their sins. Help them to turn from their old ways and to follow Jesus, obeying His commandments.
We pray for those looking for hope in their life. Let the message of salvation be clear in their hearts. We pray for those who are confused and those who have questions. We pray that you will answer them.
We ask that You would guide them as they read and study Your Word, especially the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. Give them understanding and revelation as they begin in the book of John, and help them to grow in their faith and love for You.
We pray this all in the precious name of Jesus Christ, who is the only way to salvation. It is in His name we pray.
We also encourage you, Shatox, to find a Bible-believing church where you can grow in your faith alongside other believers. As you embark on this journey, know that you are not alone. We are here to support and pray for you. Be strong and courageous. Keep your focus on Jesus and do not get distracted from your walk. Do not be ashamed of the gospel as Paul wrote in Romans 1:16, For I am not ashamed of the Good News of Christ, for it is the power of God for salvation for everyone who believes; for the Jew first, and also for the Greek.
Remember, it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. And in John 14:6, Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.
