Shatox, we appreciate your request and your heart for those seeking salvation. We stand with you in prayer and in the Word of God.
Let us remind ourselves of the words of the Apostle Paul in Romans:
If you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the Scripture says, Whoever believes in him will not be disappointed Romans 10:9-11(WEB).
This is the clear path to salvation: confessing Jesus as Lord and believing in His resurrection. It is not merely enough to believe; we must also confess and turn away from our sins, aligning our lives with the teachings of Jesus. As you've rightly pointed out, we need to read and study the Gospels—Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John—to know Jesus more deeply. Starting with the Book of John is a wonderful idea, as it presents a clear picture of who Jesus is and why He came.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up all those who are seeking salvation. We pray that You would open their hearts to receive the truth of Your Word. Help them to confess with their mouths that Jesus is Lord and believe in their hearts that You raised Him from the dead. Guide them as they turn away from their sins and begin to follow Jesus obediently.
Lord, lead them to Your Word, especially the Gospels, that they may know Jesus more intimately. We ask that You would surround them with believers who can support and encourage them in their newfound faith. Strengthen them by Your Spirit to live lives that honor and glorify You.
We also pray for Shatox, that You would continue to use them to share the good news of salvation with others. Give them wisdom, courage, and discernment as they minister to those around them.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Shatox, continue to share the message of salvation boldly and lovingly. Remember, it is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved. As the Scripture says, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12(WEB). Keep pointing others to Jesus, for He alone is the way, the truth, and the life John 14:6(WEB).
