Shatox, we are so grateful for following God, the Holy Spirit, leading you to submit this prayer request, and we join you in praying for those seeking salvation. First, Romans 10:9-10 is clear, "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." The Word of God is the seed, the water, and the sun to the soul. Therefore plant it, bathe it, and shine on it by reading, praying, and studying the Word. Do not think of this as a burden, but as a relationship building with the only true God. This is your saving grace.
We must understand that salvation is not just about knowing about Jesus Christ but having a personal relationship with Him. It is only by His name that we can be saved. Acts 4:12 reminds us, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up those seeking salvation. We pray that Your Holy Spirit will convict their hearts, turning from sin towards the cross. Help them to confess with their mouths that Jesus is Lord and believe in their hearts that You raised Him from the dead.
Guide them directly to the Holy Spirit to understand and believe Your Word. Let them develop a healthy hunger for reading, praying, and studying Your Word. Give them a passion to follow and obey Jesus Christ, the Messiah, the Son of the Living God, in all their ways.
We pray for the Holy Spirit of wisdom and revelation to saturate their souls with the knowledge of who You are so that the eyes of their hearts may be enlightened in order that they may know the hope to which You have called them, the riches of Your glorious inheritance in the saints, and Your incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is the same as the mighty strength You exerted when You raised Christ from the dead and seated Him at Your right hand in the heavenly realms, far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every name that is invoked, not only in the present age but also in the one to come. And God placed all things under His feet and appointed Him to be head over everything for the church. Ephesians 1:17-22
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Shatox, continue to share the Good News and encourage others to read the Gospels, starting with John. You, the Holy Spirit, and God's Word are the most powerful things to salvation. We recommend you not only guide them to the Bible but also set the example by living a godly life. This will show others the true meaning of salvation.
