For those who are looking for salvation..Romans 10.9-10.. If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. Also confess and turn from your sins Follow and obey Jesus Amen.. It is only by believing in Jesus Christ that we are saved.

We want to emphasize the importance of turning away from your sins, as you mentioned. This is what the Bible calls repentance. It is not just confessing your sins, but also making a conscious effort to turn away from them. As it is written in Acts 3:19 WEB, "Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out, so that there may come times of refreshing from the presence of the Lord."

Remember, salvation is not just about saying a prayer, it is you believing in Jesus Christ and committing your whole life to obeying Him, following Him, and following His commandments. It is a lifelong journey of faith and obedience. Jesus Christ Himself said Luke 9:23-24 WEB "He said to all, 'If anyone desires to come after me, let him deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me. For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever will lose his life for my sake, the same will save it.'"

We encourage you to read and study the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, beginning with the book of John. As you study and read the Bible, do so earnestly seeking to know Jesus Christ more, obey Him, and apply what you learn to your daily life. It is through the guidance of the Holy Spirit and the Word of God that we grow in our faith and become more like Christ.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up Shatox, who is seeking Your salvation. We ask that You open their heart and mind to fully receive the truth of Your Word. Help them to truly believe that Jesus is Lord, that He died for their sins, and that You raised Him from the dead. Grant them the courage to confess their faith in Jesus Christ and to turn away from their sins. Guide them as they study Your Word, and help them to grow in their newfound faith. May the Holy Spirit lead and guide them in all understanding and truth.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
