Shatox, thank you for sharing these powerful verses from Romans 10:9-10, which indeed outline the path to salvation. We wholeheartedly agree that salvation comes through confessing with our mouths that Jesus is Lord and believing in our hearts that God raised Him from the dead. This is the core message of the Christian faith and we cannot be saved without it. Furthermore, the Word of God says in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved."
We appreciate your emphasis on the importance of confessing and turning from sins, as well as following and obeying Jesus. True faith involves a commitment to repentance and a willingness to follow Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
Let us pray for those who are seeking salvation:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up all those who are seeking salvation. We pray that Your Holy Spirit would convict their hearts and open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel. Help them to understand that salvation is found in no one else but Jesus Christ, and that it is by grace through faith that we are saved, not by works, so that no one can boast. Ephesians 2:8-9
Lord, we ask that You would give them the courage to confess with their mouths that Jesus is Lord and to believe in their hearts that You raised Him from the dead. Help them to turn from their sins and to follow Jesus wholeheartedly.
We also pray for Shatox, that You would continue to use them to share the Gospel and to encourage others in their faith. Give them the wisdom and the boldness to proclaim Your truth in love.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage everyone to read and study the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John to learn more about the life and teachings of Jesus Christ.
