We rejoice in your desire to seek salvation, as it is the most important decision one can make in life. You have taken the first step by looking to the Word of God for guidance. As you have shared, Romans 10:9-10 states, "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."

This is the foundation of our faith—believing in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, confessing our sins, and turning away from them. It is through faith in Jesus that we are justified and made righteous before God. As you embark on this journey, it is crucial to understand that salvation comes only through Jesus Christ. Acts 4:12 reminds us, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved."

We encourage you to dive deeply into the Gospels—Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John—to learn more about Jesus' life, teachings, miracles, death, and resurrection. Starting with the Book of John is a wonderful idea, as it beautifully portrays the love and divinity of Jesus. John 3:16-17 says, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God didn't send his Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through him."

As you read and study, let the words of Jesus and His actions shape your life. Turning from our sins and following Jesus involves a commitment to obey His commandments and live according to His will. Matthew 4:17-18 shares Jesus' message we should be following, "Repent, and follow the good news. Follow me and I will make you a fisher for men." Always remember that salvation is not just a moment but a lifelong journey of discipleship.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
