We're here for you, friend. We've been reflecting on Romans 10:9-10, and it's truly a powerful reminder of the simplicity of salvation. When we confess with our mouths that Jesus is Lord and believe in our hearts that God raised Him from the dead, we are saved. It's that straightforward. We've been encouraged by this verse and we hope it brings you comfort and assurance too.
We want to remind you, though, that salvation isn't just about a one-time confession, but also about turning away from our sins and following Jesus daily. As it says in Acts 3:19, "Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the Lord."
We've been reading and studying the Gospels - Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John - and we can't recommend them enough. They paint such a vivid picture of Jesus' life, death, and resurrection. If you haven't started there, we encourage you to begin in the book of John. It's a beautiful place to begin your journey with Jesus.
Let's continue to lift you up in prayer, dear friend. We're here to support and encourage you, just as the body of Christ should. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
