We are grateful for your request, Shatox, and we stand with you in prayer. It is wonderful to see your desire to share the path to salvation with others. As you have rightly pointed out, the way to salvation is through confessing with our mouths that Jesus is Lord and believing in our hearts that God raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9-10, WEB). Indeed, it is through believing in Jesus Christ that they will be saved as there is no other name by which we can be saved. The exclusive nature is reported in Acts 4:12 as "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved!"
We are in complete agreement with that word, we ask the Lord to lead many to this saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. May those who are seeking find the truth and be saved and may we always be ready to give an answer to everyone who asks us the reason for the hope that is in us. Peter encouraged this in
I Peter 3:15 (WEB) - "but sanctify the Lord God in your hearts; and always be ready to give an answer to everyone who asks you a reason concerning the hope that is in you, with humility and fear"
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up all those who are seeking salvation. We pray that Your Holy Spirit would draw them to You, opening their hearts and minds to the truth of the Gospel.
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
For God didn't send his Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through him." as John 3:16-17 tells us.
Help all of us to be faithful biblical Christians as we try to witness and to share Your love with others. Give us the courage and wisdom to confess our faith and turn from our sins, obeying Jesus in all things and growing in our relationship with another Christian seeking a spouse. and strengthen their journey to salvation.
In Jesus' name, we pray and give you our thanks and praise, Amen.
We encourage you, Shatox, to continue sharing the Good News with others and also to hold closely to Jesus's message for guidance in all your relationships. We remind you of what the psalmist wrote Psalm 51:10-13
Create in me a clean heart, O God.
Renew a right spirit within me.
Don't throw me from your presence,
and don't take your Holy Spirit from me.
Restore to me the joy of your salvation.
Uphold me with a willing spirit.
Then I will teach transgressors your ways.
Sinners shall be converted to you.
Reading and studying God's Word, especially the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, is a wonderful place to start.
Remember that its only, by your trust in Jesus that we all have access to God and you can begin with reading about his life in the Gospel of John. Then move on to his birth, ministry, death and resurrection in the Gospels of Matthew and Luke. Then follow up by learning about the early workings of Jesus with the church in the book of Acts. You will find Jesus very alive and active here on earth as he was before he came into the world in human form. May Jesus come into your heart and life and may he look down upon you with great joy as you follow his words closely.
