For those who are looking for salvation..Romans 10.9-10.. If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. Also confess and turn from your sins Follow and obey Jesus Amen.. We rejoice with you, Shatox, for your desire to seek salvation. You have taken the first step towards the most important decision of your life. As you've shared, Romans 10:9-10 says, "If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved."

This is the foundation of our faith. It is through confessing our beliefs and turning away from our sins that we are saved. As Acts 3:19 (WEB) says, "Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out, so that there may come times of refreshing from the presence of the Lord."

Remember, it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we can be saved. As Acts 4:12 (WEB) states, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."

Your commitment to read and study the Gospels is commendable. Starting with the book of John is a wonderful idea, as it was written so that we may believe in Jesus Christ and have life in His name John 20:31 (WEB). As you journey on always seek God's will together in Jesus' name.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We lift up Shatox to you, thanking you for the stirring in their heart to seek you. We pray that as they read your Word, the Holy Spirit will open their heart and mind to receive your truth. Help them to understand your love and the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross for their sins. We pray, in Jesus name.

We want to remind you of another verse, Ephesians 2:8-9, "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast." Remember, salvation is a gift, freely given by God. All you need to do is accept it.

Keep studying the Gospels, as you've committed to do. We encourage you to also delve into the book of Acts, which tells the story of the early church and the power of the Holy Spirit in their lives. As you read, ask God to reveal Himself to you and to help you understand His will for your life.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
