We are glad to hear that you are seeking salvation and have shared the crucial verses from Romans 10:9-10, which proclaim, "If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved." This is the core of the good news, and we rejoice that you are taking steps toward eternal life.
We also appreciate the scriptures you have mentioned and your willingness to read and study the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. We recommend starting with the Gospel of John, as it beautifully presents Jesus as the Son of God and the Savior of the world. The book can be divided into 7 days of reading. In the first 3 days, read 2 chapters each day, then in the next 2 days, read 3 chapters each day, then in the 6th day, read 4 chapters, and finally in the 7th day, read the remaining 5 chapters and then start back over. Many people miss important parts of this book and what the Lord has taught us when it is read straight through in just a few days. May you understand God has an intent and purpose with each gospel and each chapter.
Salvation is a free gift from God, but it requires a response from us. It is not enough to simply believe in Jesus; we must also confess Him as Lord, which means we surrender our lives to His leadership. This includes turning from our sins and discovering His Word for us in response. As Jesus Himself said "Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me" (Luke 9:23 WEB).
We also encourage you to be baptized as an outward expression of your inward faith, and seek fellowship with other believers in a local church. As you grow in your faith, remember that "faith without works is dead" (James 2:20). Obedience to Jesus' commands is the natural fruit of true salvation.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, asking for Your salvation. We confess that Jesus is Lord and believe in our hearts that You raised Him from the dead. We turn from our sins and ask for Your forgiveness. Help us understand the scriptures we will change who we are. Help us to grow in our faith and obedience to You each day. Guide us according to Your will and place Holy people and opportunities in our lives. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
