Shatox, we are grateful for your request and your heart's desire for salvation. We stand with you in prayer and in the word of God.
Firstly, we want to commend you for sharing the scripture from the World English Bible.
In order for us to help you further, let us recognize our sinful nature which we need to address to receive God's forgiveness. Conversion is more than just raising a hand, going forward, or even saying a prayer unless it involves a real change of heart, repentance and true faith in Jesus Christ. God is a holy and just God, and He demands that we be holy as well (Leviticus 11:44). Read the passages from Romans chapters 3-5 for a fuller explanation.
Therefore consider the following scripture from WEB: Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."
It is important to acknowledge our sinful state and our need for a savior. The Bible tells us that we are all sinners and that the consequence of sin is death (Romans 6:23). However, because of God's great love for us, He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross for our sins (John 3:16, Romans 5:8). Through Jesus' sacrifice, we can be saved from the penalty of our sins and have eternal life.
If you truly desire salvation, confess your sins to God and believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross for you and rose again from the dead. Then turn from your old ways and begin to follow and obey Him.
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You on behalf of Shatox, asking for Your forgiveness and salvation. Help them to turn from their old ways, believe in Jesus Christ, and make Him Lord of their life. Please fill their heart with the knowledge of Your love for them, so that they will live a godly life and trust only in Your Son.
In Jesus name, Eternal Heavenly Father, we pray". Amen.
We encourage you to keep reading the books of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, starting with the book of John as you suggested.
Remember, it is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved. Please continue to keep us updated on your journey of faith so that we may continue to lift you up in prayer.
