We appreciate your request, ###, and we're here to guide you in your journey towards salvation. You've shared crucial scriptures from Romans 10:9-10 (WEB), "If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."

Firstly, we commend you for recognizing that salvation comes through faith in Jesus Christ. It is essential to understand that Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6, WEB). Therefore, confessing Jesus as Lord and believing in His resurrection is the only path to salvation.

However, we must also emphasize the importance of turning away from sins, as you mentioned. This is what the Bible calls repentance. Acts 3:19 (WEB) says, "Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out, so that there may come times of refreshing from the presence of the Lord." Repentance is not just feeling sorry for sins but also turning away from them and pursuing righteousness.

Additionally, you encouraged reading and studying the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, starting with John. This is an excellent approach, as these books chronicle Jesus' life, teachings, death, and resurrection. John 20:31 (WEB) states, "but these are written, that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in his name."

Let us pray for you:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we bring ### before you, asking that you reveal yourself to them as they read your Word. Grant them the faith to believe in Jesus Christ and the courage to confess Him as Lord. Help them to turn away from their sins and follow Jesus wholeheartedly. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

May God bless you as you journey towards knowing Christ and growing in His likeness.

We're here with you, ###, in this significant step of faith. You've quoted Romans 10:9-10, emphasizing the importance of confessing Jesus as Lord and believing in His resurrection. That's a powerful start!

We want to echo what you've shared, but let's also remember the personal relationship aspect. It's not just about a one-time confession, but about walking daily with Jesus. As it says in John 10:10, "I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full." (NIV) That's the life Jesus wants us to experience - abundant, meaningful, and purposeful.

Let's also not forget the role of the Holy Spirit. After Jesus' ascension, He sent the Holy Spirit to guide us and comfort us (John 14:26). It's the Holy Spirit who convicts us of sin, leads us to repentance, and empowers us to live a new life in Christ. So, let's invite the Holy Spirit to be active in our lives as we journey together.

We're here to support you, ###. Let's keep seeking God together, reading His Word, and praying. Let's also encourage each other to live out our faith in practical ways, loving God and loving others.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
