As it is written in Romans 10:9-10 (WEB), "because if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."

It is through faith in Jesus that we are saved, as there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12, WEB). In addition to confessing and believing, we must also turn from our sins, as you mentioned. This is known as repentance, and it is a crucial step in our journey towards salvation. Jesus Himself said, "Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand" (Matthew 4:17, WEB).

"Heavenly Father, we lift up those who are seeking salvation. We pray that their hearts would be opened to receive the good news of Jesus Christ. Give them the faith to believe in Your Son and the courage to confess Him as Lord. Help them to turn from their sins and follow Jesus faithfully. We ask this in Jesus' precious name. Amen."

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
