Dear Shatox,
We rejoice in your earnestness to seek salvation. Indeed, the Bible clearly outlines the path to salvation, as you've shared from Romans 10:9-10, "If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved."
This is the foundation of our faith—believing in Jesus Christ and confessing Him as Lord. It is crucial to understand that salvation comes only through Jesus, as He said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6, WEB). Confessing our sins and turning from them is essential, for it is written, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9, WEB).
We encourage you to delve deeper into the Gospels—Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John—to understand the life, teachings, and sacrifice of Jesus Christ. Starting with the Book of John is a wonderful idea, as it presents Jesus as the Son of God and the path to eternal life.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Shatox who is seeking salvation. We pray that You will open their heart to fully understand and believe in Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Grant them the faith to confess with their mouth and believe in their heart that You raised Jesus from the dead. Help them to turn away from their sins and follow Jesus faithfully.
Guide Shatox as they read and study Your Word, especially the Gospels, that they may know the truth and the truth will set them free. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in Your ways and be a light to the world.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We stand with you in your journey towards eternal life. May the Lord bless you abundantly as you seek Him with all your heart.
