Shatox, we rejoice in your desire to seek salvation. Let us guide you through God's Word and pray together.
As you've shared, Romans 10:9-10 says, "If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes and is justified, and with the mouth, one confesses and is saved." This is the core of salvation: confessing Jesus as Lord and believing in His resurrection.
We also encourage you to turn from your sins, as Acts 3:19 says, "Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out." This is not just about acknowledging sin, but also about turning away from it and pursuing righteousness.
You've also been directed to read the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, starting with John. This is wonderful advice, as these books detail the life, ministry, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. As you read, we pray that the Holy Spirit will reveal the truth of Jesus to your heart.
Let us pray:
"Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You with Shatox, who is seeking salvation in Your Son, Jesus Christ. We pray that You would reveal Yourself to Shatox in a powerful way. Help them to understand the significance of Jesus' death and resurrection, and give them the faith to believe and the courage to confess.
Please guide Shatox as they read Your Word. Open their heart and mind to understand Your truths and apply them to their life. We ask that You would grant them conviction, comfort, and joy as they walk in newness of life.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Remember, Shatox, it is only through Jesus Christ that we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Keep seeking Him, and He will reveal Himself to you. If you have any questions or need further guidance, please don't hesitate to ask. We are here to support you in your spiritual journey.
