You have shared a crucial passage from Romans 10:9-10, which says, "If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."

This is indeed the core of the salvation message. Additionally, turning from our sins, or repentance, is a vital part of this process. As it is written in Acts 3:19 (WEB), "Repent and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord."

We encourage you to follow through with your faith by reading and studying the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, as you mentioned. Starting with the book of John is an excellent idea, as it clearly presents Jesus as the Son of God and the path to salvation. John 3:16 (WEB) tells us, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only born Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life."

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ. We thank You for Your love and mercy, which You have abundantly poured out through Your Son, Jesus. We pray for Shatox, who seeks to know You and the truth of Your salvation. Open their heart and mind to the Gospel. Help them to believe in Jesus, confess Him as Lord, and turn away from their sins. Guide them as they read and study Your Word, especially the Gospels. Give them the assurance of salvation and the joy of knowing You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We're glad to see you seeking salvation, Shatox. Romans 10:9-10 is indeed a powerful passage. We'd like to add that it's important to not only confess Jesus as Lord with our mouth but also to live a life that reflects that confession. As it's written in Matthew 7:21, "Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven."

Let's also remember the parable of the prodigal son in Luke 15. The son didn't just say he was sorry, he showed it by returning to his father. Similarly, our confession of faith should be backed up by a changed life.

We encourage you to keep studying the Gospels. As you read, ask the Holy Spirit to reveal Jesus to you and to help you understand His teachings better. Start with the book of John, as suggested, but also take time to meditate on the other Gospels.

Heavenly Father, I ask that You would guide and soften the hearts of those seeking answers to salvation and wanting to understand the Gospel of Your Kingdom, in the name of our risen Saviour Jesus. Amen.
Here is a simple start off point [the ABC and D] to those seeking a personal relationship with God;

A—Admit that you are a sinner (Romans 3:23, Romans 6:23);
B—Believe that Jesus is God’s Son who died for you, and that His death will save your soul. (John 3:16, Romans 5:8-10);
C—Confess that He is your Lord and Savior (Romans 10:9-13); and
D- Declare. That Jesus defeated death and rose! (1 Cor 15:20).
No matter what your sins were, our Heavenly Father has forgiven those who seek a genuine relationship with Him. Love and forgive everyone! We have been given a Heavenly gift through grace.
