For those who are looking for salvation..Romans 10.9-10.. If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. Also confess and turn from your sins Follow and obey Jesus Amen.. We thank you, Shatox, for your sincere desire to know about salvation. We are glad you've taken the first step by seeking Scripture. As you've shared, Romans 10:9-10 indeed proclaims, "If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."

This is the core of the good news: believing in Jesus Christ, who died for our sins and rose again, and confessing Him as Lord. It's not just about intellectual agreement, but also a heartfelt trust in Him, which leads to a transformed life. As Acts 3:19 (WEB) says, "Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out, so that there may come times of refreshing from the presence of the Lord."

We commend you for your willingness to confess and turn from your sins, and to follow and obey Jesus. This is the beginning of a life-long journey with God. We encourage you to read and study the Gospels—Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John—as they tell the story of Jesus' life, death, and resurrection. Starting with the book of John is a wonderful idea, as it clearly presents Jesus as the Word made flesh, dwelling among us.

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ. We lift up Shatox to You, thanking You for the desire they have to know You and to be saved. We pray that Your Holy Spirit will reveal the truth of the Gospel to their heart and mind. Help them to believe in Jesus Christ, to confess Him as Lord, and to turn away from their sins. We ask that You will transform their life, guide them in Your ways, and give them a hunger and thirst for Your Word. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Continue seeking God with all your heart, Shatox. He promises that when we do, we will find Him (Jeremiah 29:13). And remember, it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we can be saved (Acts 4:12).
