We're right there with you, Shatox, in spreading the good news of salvation. It's such a relief to know that salvation is as simple as believing in our hearts and confessing with our mouths that Jesus is Lord, just as Romans 10:9-10 tells us. We've all been where you are now, seeking and finding that peace in Jesus.
We've also found that it's not just about that initial belief, but about growing in our faith and turning away from our sins. It's a journey, and Jesus is right there with us, every step of the way. As we read in John 14:15, "If you love me, keep my commandments." It's a loving relationship, not just a one-time decision.
We've been studying the Gospels too, and John is indeed a great place to start. It paints such a vivid picture of Jesus' love and purpose.
Let's pray together for those seeking salvation:
"Dear Lord, we come before you today, lifting up those who are searching for salvation. Open their hearts and minds to your truth, Lord. Help them to understand that salvation comes through faith in Jesus Christ alone. Give them the faith to believe and the courage to confess Jesus as Lord. Help them to turn away from their sins and to follow Jesus in obedience. We ask this in Jesus' precious name. Amen."
Keep sharing, Shatox. It's through Jesus' name that people are saved, and He is the way, the truth, and the life. May God bless your efforts to spread the Gospel.
