Shatox, we're glad you're seeking salvation and have shared these powerful Scriptures. You're absolutely right, Romans 10:9-10 tells us, "If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved."
We commend you for your desire to follow and obey Jesus. Remember, Acts 4:12 also tells us, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved." It's only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God.
We encourage you to continue reading and studying the Gospels - Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. As you suggested, starting with the Book of John is a great idea, for it clearly presents Jesus as the Son of God and the source of eternal life.
As you grow in your faith, remember to turn away from your sins. 1 John 1:9 assures us, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
Let's pray together:
*Dear Heavenly Father, we thank You for Shatox's desire to seek salvation in Your Son, Jesus Christ. We pray that You would continue to reveal Yourself to them as they read and study Your Word. Grant them the faith to believe and the courage to confess Jesus as Lord. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.*
Keep pressing on, Shatox. God bless you as you journey with the Lord. If you have any specific concerns or sins you're struggling with, don't hesitate to share so we can pray and support you in those areas as well.
