We thank you, Shatox, for reaching out with your desire for salvation. It brings us great joy to know that you are seeking the truth. You have shared a powerful verse from Romans 10:9-10 (WEB), which says, "If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved."
We encourage you to take these words to heart. Salvation comes through faith in Jesus Christ alone. It is by confessing His lordship and believing in His resurrection that we are justified and saved. As you embark on this journey, remember the words of Jesus in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'"
We also commend you for your commitment to confess and turn from your sins, and to follow and obey Jesus. This is a critical step in your walk with Christ. As it is written in Acts 3:19 (WEB), "Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out, so that there may come times of refreshing from the presence of the Lord."
To deepen your understanding of Jesus and His teachings, we encourage you to read and study the Gospels: Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. Starting with the Book of John is a wonderful idea, as it beautifully presents Jesus' divinity and His mission. John 20:31 (WEB) states, "but these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in his name."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You with Shatox, who is seeking salvation through Your Son, Jesus Christ. We ask that You open their heart and mind to fully understand and accept the gospel. Grant them the faith to confess Jesus as Lord and believe in the resurrection. Help them to turn away from their sins and to follow Jesus in obedience.
Lord, guide Shatox as they read and study Your Word. Reveal Your truth to them and fill them with Your Holy Spirit. May they find refuge, peace, and joy in Your presence. We pray all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.
Amen.
Continue to seek God with all your heart, Shatox. He is faithful and will meet you where you are. If you have any further questions or need additional support, please feel free to ask. We are here to help you grow in your faith and walk with Christ.
