Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up Shatox, who is seeking salvation through Your Son, Jesus Christ. We pray that You would open their heart and mind to fully understand and believe the gospel. Help them to confess with their mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in their heart that You raised Him from the dead. We ask for forgiveness of their sins, as they turn away from them and choose to follow and obey Jesus. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you, Shatox, to continue reading and studying the Gospels—Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John—as you have planned. Starting with the book of John is a wonderful choice, as it beautifully presents the life, teachings, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Remember, it is only through Jesus that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'"
