Shatox, we understand that you are seeking salvation and we are overjoyed that you have taken this step to reach out. The Bible tells us in Romans 10:9-10, "If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved."
This is the core of the Good News: believing in Jesus Christ and confessing Him as Lord. It's not just about intellectual agreement but also a heartfelt commitment to turn away from sins and follow Jesus. As it is written in Acts 3:19 (WEB), "Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out."
Let us pray together: Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ. We confess that we are sinners in need of a Savior. We believe that Jesus is Lord, that He died for our sins, and that You raised Him from the dead. Please forgive our sins and help us to turn from them. We desire to follow and obey Jesus. Fill us with Your Holy Spirit and guide us in Your Truth. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to start reading the Gospels: Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, as they tell the story of Jesus' life, ministry, death, and resurrection. Beginning with the Book of John is a wonderful idea, as it clearly presents the message of salvation.
Remember, it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God. As it is written in Acts 4:12 (WEB), "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
May God bless you on this new journey of faith. We are here to support and pray with you.
