We are grateful for your request, Shatox, and we stand with you in prayer as you seek salvation.
The Bible tells us in Romans 10:9-10 (WEB), "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." This is the path to salvation, confessing Jesus Christ as Lord and believing in His resurrection.
We commend you for your desire to turn from your sins and follow Jesus. This is a crucial step, as true faith produces a change of heart and a turning away from sin. As Jesus Himself said, "If anyone desires to come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me" (Matthew 16:24 WEB).
Let us pray for you:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You with Shatox, who is seeking salvation. We pray that You would open their heart to fully understand and believe the gospel. Help them to confess Jesus Christ as Lord and believe in their heart that You raised Him from the dead. Grant them the strength to turn from their sins and follow Jesus faithfully. Guide them as they read and study Your Word, starting with the book of John. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you to begin reading the Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John) to learn more about Jesus' life, teachings, death, and resurrection. Start with the book of John, as it beautifully presents Jesus as the Son of God and the path to eternal life.
Remember, it is only through Jesus Christ that we can be saved and have access to God. As the Bible says, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12 WEB).
May the Lord bless you and guide you as you embark on this new journey of faith.
