Shatox, we are grateful for your desire to seek salvation and grow in your relationship with God. You have shared a profound truth from Romans 10:9-10, "If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved."
This is indeed the foundation of our faith. It is through confessing Jesus as Lord and believing in His resurrection that we are saved. As you embark on this journey, remember that salvation is not merely about words but also about a changed heart and life. As Acts 3:19 tells us, "Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord."
We encourage you to immerse yourself in the Gospels—Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. Start with the book of John, as it beautifully presents the life and ministry of Jesus. As you read and study, allow the words to transform your heart and mind. Jesus Himself said, "If you continue in my word, then you are truly my disciples. You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free" (John 8:31-32).
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You with Shatox, who seeks salvation and a deeper understanding of Your Word. We thank You for the gift of Your Son, Jesus Christ, who died for our sins and rose again to offer us eternal life. Lord, we ask that You open Shatox's heart and mind to receive Your truth. May the Holy Spirit guide and illuminate the Scriptures as they read and study. Help them to turn away from any sins and to walk in Your ways.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Continue to seek the Lord with all your heart, and He will guide your steps.
