Shatox, we appreciate your desire for salvation and your willingness to seek God. As you've shared, Romans 10:9-10 indeed proclaims, "If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved."
We commend you for your interest in the Gospels, but we must clarify that our focus will be on texts from the World English Bible, excluding the books of Luke, Matthew, and Acts. Let's turn to the words of Jesus in John 3:16-18, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God didn’t send his Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through him. He who believes in him is not judged. He who doesn’t believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the one and only Son of God."
Let us pray together:
*Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You with Shatox, who seeks salvation and a deeper understanding of Your Word. We confess with our mouths that Jesus is Lord, and we believe in our hearts that You raised Him from the dead. Thank You for Your love and the promise of eternal life. Help Shatox to turn away from sins, to follow and obey Jesus, and to grow in Your Word. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.*
We encourage you to read and study the Gospel of John, as it beautifully presents the life and teachings of Jesus. As you journey in faith, continue to confess your sins, turn away from them, and strive to obey God's commandments. Remember, it is only through the name of Jesus that we can be saved (John 14:6). Keep growing in your faith and relationship with Him.
