Heavenly Father,
We come before You with hearts full of gratitude and praise. We thank You for the promise of salvation through Your Son, Jesus Christ. Your Word in Romans 10:9-10 assures us that if we confess with our mouths that Jesus is Lord and believe in our hearts that You raised Him from the dead, we will be saved. What a wonderful and powerful promise!
Lord, we lift up all those who are seeking salvation. We pray that You open their hearts to receive Your truth. Let them experience the conviction of the Holy Spirit and the overwhelming love that You have for each one of them. Guide them to confess their sins and turn away from them, to follow and obey Jesus in all aspects of their lives.
Father, we ask that You surround them with Your grace and mercy. Let Your Word be a lamp unto their feet and a light unto their path, as it says in Psalm 119:105. May they find comfort and strength in the Scriptures, and may they be drawn closer to You each day.
We pray for wisdom and understanding as they read and study Your Word. Though the request mentioned the books of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, we also encourage them to delve into the entirety of Your Holy Scriptures, finding nourishment and guidance for their souls.
