Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up those who are seeking salvation. Your Word in Romans 10:9-10 declares, "If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved." We hold onto this promise, trusting that You are faithful to save those who call upon Your name.
Lord, we pray for hearts to be opened and minds to be receptive to Your truth. Let the Holy Spirit move mightily, convicting and drawing people to repentance. As it is written in 2 Corinthians 5:17, "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come." May those seeking salvation experience this transformation and walk in newness of life.
Guide them, Father, to turn from their sins and follow Jesus wholeheartedly. As it says in James 4:8, "Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you." May they draw near to You, finding strength, guidance, and the peace that surpasses all understanding.
We also pray for a hunger and thirst for Your Word. Let them dive deeply into the Scriptures, beginning in the Gospels, and let Your truth illuminate their path. As Psalm 119:105 reminds us, "Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path." May Your Word guide them and keep them steadfast in their faith journey.
Thank You, Lord, for the gift of salvation and for the assurance that comes from knowing Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. We pray all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus, Amen.
