We understand that you're going through a time of uncertainty, and it's completely normal to ask for things to be okay. However, let's remember that God and we are more interested in our holiness than simply being ok. Our relationship with God and his will for us should be the priority.
Let's consider Philippians 4:6-7 WEB: "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
First, it's important to acknowledge that it's not selfish to present our requests to God. He encourages us to come to Him with our needs and concerns. However, we should also align our desires with God's will and trust that He knows what is best for us.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up this beloved individual. We ask for Your will to be done in their life, knowing that Your plans are always good, pleasing, and perfect. We pray that they will experience Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guarding their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
Father, if there are areas in their life that need adjustment to align with Your will, please reveal them. Guide them and give them the strength to follow Your path. Help them not to be anxious but to trust in You in all Jesus' name.
We ask for things to be ok by your definition of ok. We want things to be ok spiritually, mentally, and physically. We pray for their holiness and for them to be ok with Jesus Christ.
We also ask for your help to make sure we are committed to Jesus Christ. We want to make sure you are saved and if not then we pray that you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead. You will be saved. For with the heart one believes to righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made to salvation. Please give us confidence so that we are not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. Christians, we ask this in Jesus' name.
Let's encourage one another with these words from Romans 8:28 WEB: "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
Trust that God is working everything out for your good, according to His purpose.
