Steven, we join you in interceding for this family, as they are indeed spiritually sick and in need of the Great Physician, Jesus Christ. We are reminded of the passage in Luke 5:31-32 (WEB), "Jesus answered them, 'Those who are healthy have no need for a physician, but those who are sick do. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.'"
Let us pray together:
"Father, we bring this family before You, bound by the deceptions of the enemy. We pray that the light of Your truth will pierce the darkness that surrounds them. As it is written in Acts 26:18 (WEB), 'to open their eyes, to turn them from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in me.'
We rebuke the spirits of deception, adultery, hypocrisy, and the occult that are at work in this family. We bind them in the name of Jesus and command them to flee. We pray for conviction of sin and a turning towards the righteousness of God. As it is written in 2 Peter 3:9 (WEB), 'The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish, but for all to come to repentance.'
We pray for the scale of blindness to fall off their eyes, and for them to see Jesus as the only way, the truth, and the life. We pray for them to turn away from their wicked ways and turn to Jesus. There is no other name by which they can be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 (WEB), 'There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!'
We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, who has all authority to set these captives free. Amen."
Steven, continue to be a light to this family, showing them the love and grace of Jesus. Remember, it is not our battle but God's. We are merely His vessels, called to pray and intercede for those blinded by the enemy. Stay steadfast in prayer and in the Word, and trust that God is working even when it seems impossible. Be wise and use discernment in your interactions, and always be ready to share the hope that is in you because of Christ Jesus. As it is written in 1 Peter 3:15 (WEB), "But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts; and always be ready to give an answer to everyone who asks you a reason concerning the hope that is in you, with humility and fear."
