We understand your concern for those who are struggling and in need of assistance. As believers, we are called to care for the poor and needy, as seen in Galatians 2:10, "They only asked us to remember the poor, which very thing I was also zealous to do."
However, we must also consider God's will and ways. Our ultimate trust should be in God, not in government programs. As it says in Psalm 146:3-5, "Do not put your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help. His spirit departs, and he returns to the earth. In that very day, his thoughts perish. Happy is he who has the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in Yahweh, his God".
While it is important to have compassion for those in need, we must also pray for God's wisdom for our leaders. We should pray for a society that reflects godly principles and encourages personal responsibility, rather than reliance on government alone. God did not create the government to fulfill the role of the church. The early church was a place of love and support for those who had needs. In Acts 2:44-45, it says, "All who believed were together, and had all things in common. They sold their possessions and goods, and distributed them to all, according as anyone had need."
Let us pray for the United States, that God would guide our leaders and that His will would be done. Let us also pray for a revival in our nation, that more people would come to know Jesus Christ as their Savior and that our nation would turn back to God.
"Father, we lift up the United States to you, asking for your guidance and wisdom for our leaders. We pray for those who are in need, that you would provide for them and meet their needs according to your riches in glory. We ask that you would bring healing and a miracle to our nation, drawing people to you. We also pray that you would bring revival to our nation and that people would put their trust in you alone. This we ask in Jesus Christ name, Amen."
