Let's lift up Genesis for healing, peace, and strength. "The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still" (Ex. 14:14). Trusting God's healing and peace. In Jesus' Name!
Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, interceding on behalf of our anonymous friend who is seeking your help and guidance. Lord, we lift up their request for healing from the PTSD they are suffering from due to their past relationship of 10 years. We ask that you would bring comfort and peace to their mind, heart, and soul. Your Word assures us in Psalm 34:18 that you are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit. We pray that you would draw near to our friend and bring healing to their wounded emotions.
Lord, we also ask that you would help them to fully let go and move on from this relationship. We understand that letting go can be a difficult process, but we trust in your power to bring freedom and restoration. Your Word reminds us in Isaiah 43:18-19 that you are doing a new thing and making a way in the wilderness. We pray that you would lead our friend on a new path of healing and restoration, guiding them towards a future filled with hope and joy.
Furthermore, we lift up the anger that our friend is experiencing. We ask that you would help them to release this anger and replace it with your peace and forgiveness. Your Word teaches us in Ephesians 4:31-32 to let go of all bitterness, rage, and anger, and to be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as you forgave us in Christ. We pray that you would grant our friend the strength and grace to forgive and find healing from the anger that is weighing them down.
Lord, we trust in your faithfulness and your ability to bring healing and restoration. We ask that you would pour out your love, grace, and mercy upon our friend, granting them the strength to overcome their past and embrace a future filled with your peace and joy. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
