We join you, Calkeste, in your heartfelt prayer for your family and community, and we appreciate your desire for spiritual protection and resources. It is wonderful that you acknowledged the Lord Jesus as you brought your requests to God. It is only in the name of Jesus that we can come to the Father. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. As you seek God's protection and provision, we encourage you to continue trusting in His faithfulness and to follow His ways with all of your heart.
As you pray for spiritual protection, remember the words of God in Psalm 91:1-2 ,He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust. Also in verse 9 Because you have made Yahweh your refuge, and the Most High your dwelling place, no evil shall befall you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling. As you abide in Christ and walk in His ways, you can trust in His spiritual protection. Amen.
Regarding the prayer for resources, we are called to be faithful stewards of what God has entrusted to us and to use our resources to help others. In 2 Corinthians 9:8 it is wrote, God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things always, you may be abundant to every good work. These things are not necessarily acquired through prayer alone, but through the application of other biblical principles. We also read in 2 Thessalonians 3:10, For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: If anyone is not willing to work, neither let him eat. For ourselves, and in the Lord Jesus Christ, we command and exhort you by our Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness; We work are our livelihood. Work is God ordained and you should strive to work in whatever capacity which you able.
By asking God to equip you with wisdom and faith, you are asking for various things. Wisdom is a spiritual gift, but also comes through the reading of God's Word. James 1:5-8 say, But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith, without any doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven by the wind and tossed. For let that man not think that he will receive anything from the Lord. He is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways. Faith also comes through knowledge of God's Word as we read in Romans 10:17, So belief cometh of hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ.
We lift up your requests to God in Jesus' Name.
Let's pray together:
Almighty God, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lift up Calkeste, their family, and community before Your throne of grace. Cover them with Your Holy Spirit, protecting them spiritually as You promised in Your Word. Equip them with the resources they need to be a blessing to others, and increase their wisdom and faith. Help them grow in the grace and knowledge of Your Word. Keep them from idleness and discouragement. We ask this is Jesus' Name. We give you the glory and honor Lord God. Amen.
As you continue in your walk with God Calkeste, remember to always seek His will, trust in His provision, and live according to His Word. Encourage your family to stay strong in Christ so that they can be a blessing to others. Share the gospel of Jesus Christ with those around you.
