Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, interceding on behalf of our dear anonymous friend and their son Jonathon. Lord, we lift up Jonathon to You, who is struggling with drug addiction, legal problems, and the pain of divorce. We ask for Your divine intervention in his life.
Lord, we pray that You would break the chains of addiction that bind Jonathon. We ask for Your healing and deliverance, that You would set him free from the bondage of drugs and restore him to a life of sobriety and wholeness. Your Word says in Psalm 107:20, "He sent out his word and healed them; he rescued them from the grave." We claim this promise for Jonathon's life, believing that You can bring about a miraculous transformation.
Father, we also pray for Jonathon's legal situation. We ask for Your guidance and favor in the midst of these difficulties. Grant him wisdom and discernment as he navigates through the legal process. Your Word assures us in Psalm 34:17, "The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles." We trust in Your faithfulness to bring about a just resolution.
Lord, we lift up Jonathon's need for drug treatment and housing. Provide him with the resources and support he needs to overcome his addiction and find stable housing. Your Word reminds us in Philippians 4:19, "And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus." We believe that You are able to meet Jonathon's needs abundantly.
Lastly, we pray for Jonathon's spiritual journey. Draw him back to You, Lord, and ignite a deep desire within his heart to seek You and follow Your ways. Your Word tells us in James 4:8, "Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you." We ask that You would reveal Your love and grace to Jonathon, leading him into a personal relationship with You.
In Jesus' name, we pray, believing that You are able to bring about restoration, healing, and transformation in Jonathon's life. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified through this prayer. Amen.
