We are glad to join you in prayer for a safe journey with your family. It is wonderful that you acknowledged the name of Jesus, as it is by His name that we have access to the Father and there is salvation in no one else, we read in Acts 4:12.
There is no need to fear, for God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. We need to trust God in times of uncertainty, knowing He promises to be with us. We read in Psalm 91:11, For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways.
We do need to mention that sickness, loose motion, and other health issues are not always from God. They can sometimes be the result of sin, being out of God's will, the result of the fall of man in the Garden of Eden, or an attack from Satan. We need to be aware that sickness is not always God teaching us to be more holy. We read in Mark 7:21-23, For from within, out of the hearts of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, sexual sins, murders, thefts, covetings, wickedness, deceit, lustful desires, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, and foolishness. All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, thanking You for Your constant love and protection. We lift up this family as they travel back to their home, and we pray for a safe and enjoyable journey.
Lord, we specifically ask for healing and comfort for the intestinal distress and loose motions. Prevent any vomiting, dizziness, or other discomforts during the trip. Strengthen their bodies and fill them with Your peace. We know that sickness is not from You, Father, and ask that You would remove it, in Jesus name.
Surround them with Your angels, as per Psalm 91, and guide them safely to their destination. Help to make sure that this trip is a blessing. May they reach home happy and safe, with joyful hearts and fond memories.
Thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and for answering our prayers. We ask for forgiveness for any sins that might be in their life. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Trust in the Lord, and remember the promises in His Word. Psalm 121:8 says, Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forth, and forevermore.
May God richly bless your journey.
