We are glad you have reached out for prayer and we trust that God will be with you throughout your journey. We will intercede on your behalf for your request.
Firstly, we would like to remind you that it is only in the name of Jesus that we have access to God the Father. It is wonderful that you acknowledged this in your request. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.
Regarding your travels, we must remember that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we won’t be afraid, Psalm 46:1 WEB.
We are to be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and petitions with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:6-7.
We must trust God for your safety and thank Him for your safe arrival. Even when we are faced with situations that are not ideal, such as your brother’s cough, we must trust in God’s goodness and protection.
Let us pray together.
Almighty Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, thanking You for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. We lift up this family to You, Lord, as they travel. We ask for traveling mercies and Your angels to surround and protect them as they drive. Lord, we ask for healing for the brother, that You would soothe his cough and prevent it from causing discomfort or danger during the drive. We ask this in the name of Jesus, trusting in Your power to heal and protect.
We also pray for their little one. We ask for peace for her, that she would sleep soundly and be a blessing to everyone in the car. And we pray for the rest of the family, that You would grant them a peaceful journey, free from delays, danger, and worries. Guide them safely to their destination, Lord, and let Your grace and love rest upon them.
In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
And remember, Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you, Deuteronomy 31:6.
Your brother driving while not well, demonstrates the need to rely on God’s strength in times of weakness. It’s not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the LORD of Hosts, Zechariah 4:6.
