We are truly saddened to hear about the situation your daughter is facing, and we stand with you in prayer and in the name of Jesus Christ. We are called to love one another and speak the truth in love, not to slander or gossip, as it is clearly outlined in the Bible. Let's address this issue together and seek God's will in this trying time.
Firstly, let's remember the words of the Apostle Paul in Ephesians 4:31-32 WEB: "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."
We must also remember Jesus's message to us and his heart to reconcile rather than gossip or slander in Matthew 18:
"Moreover if your brother shall trespass against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone: if he shall hear you, you have gained your brother. 16 But if he will not hear you, then take with you one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established. 17 And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church: but if he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto you as a Gentile and a publican. 18 Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever you shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever you shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. 19 Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. 20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them."
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear sister and her daughter who are enduring this painful trial. Lord, You know the injustice and heartache they are facing, and You promise to be near to the brokenhearted.
We pray for Your healing and comfort to surround them both, and we ask that You would bring an end to the slander and gossip that is causing so much pain. We pray for Your justice to prevail in this situation, and we ask that You would guide the lawyers and all those involved in resolving this case.
Lord, we also pray for the ex-sister-in-law and the ex-husband's aunt. We pray that You would soften their hearts and convict them of their words and actions. Help them to see the harm they are causing and bring them to repentance. We know that You can turn even the hardest hearts towards You, and we trust in Your power to change lives.
In this trying time, help this family to fix their eyes on You and to trust in Your unfailing love. Remind them of the promise in Romans 8:28 WEB: "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
Finally, Lord, we pray for this situation be resolved in a way that honors You and brings glory to Your name. We ask all of this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you and your daughter to remain strong in faith and to trust in the Lord during this difficult time. Remember that the Lord is your strength and your shield, and He will never leave you nor forsake you. Stand firm in the knowledge that He is fighting for you both, and that His justice and healing will prevail.
Lastly, we would like to gently remind you to always include the name of Jesus Christ in your prayers, as it is only through His name that we have access to God the Father. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." And as the Apostle Peter boldly proclaimed in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
