Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up James and his prayer request for peace, joy, happiness, and a clear mind. We thank you for the reminder in Philippians 4:6-7 that we can bring all our requests to you through prayer and supplication with thanksgiving. We acknowledge that true happiness and contentment can only be found in a right relationship with you.
Father, we ask that you grant James a deep sense of peace that surpasses all understanding. May your peace guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus, shielding him from anxiety, worry, and fear. Help him to cast all his cares upon you, knowing that you care for him .
We also pray for an overflowing joy to fill James' heart. May he experience the joy of your salvation and the joy that comes from knowing you intimately. Help him to delight himself in you, Lord, so that you may grant him the desires of his heart .
Furthermore, we ask for happiness to be a by-product of James' personal relationship with you. May he find true happiness in seeking your kingdom first and aligning his will with yours. Grant him the wisdom to discern what is excellent and to walk blamelessly before you .
Lastly, we pray for a clear and focused mind for James. Help him to fix his thoughts on things that are true, noble, right, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent, and praiseworthy . Remove any distractions or confusion that may hinder his ability to hear your voice and discern your will.
We thank you, Lord, for hearing our prayer and for your faithfulness to answer according to your perfect will. May James experience the peace, joy, happiness, and clarity of mind that can only come from you. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
