For passion towards the Lord

We're thrilled to join you in prayer, Grace, as you seek a renewed passion and excitement in your time with the Lord. It's wonderful that you've included the name of Jesus in your request, as it is through His name alone that we can approach God.

Let's turn to the World English Bible (WEB) for guidance. In Romans 12:11, we're encouraged to "not be slothful in zeal, but be fervent in spirit, serving the Lord." This verse reminds us that our passion for God is something we should actively cultivate.

In your quiet time with Jesus, remember the words of James 4:8, "Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you." As you draw near to Him, allow His love to ignite your passion.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister Grace. We ask that You reignite her passion and excitement for spending time with You. Help her to see Your goodness and love in new and refreshing ways.

Father, remind her why she fell in love with You in the first place. Let Your presence be tangible and real in her quiet time with Jesus. Help her to grow in her relationship with You, to hunger and thirst for Your word, and to be filled with a burning desire to serve You.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Grace, continue to pursue God with all your heart. Remember, Jesus promises that those who seek Him with all their heart will find Him (Jeremiah 29:13). Keep pressing in, and trust that God will renew your passion and excitement for Him.

If there are any areas of your life that are hindering your relationship with God, ask Him to reveal them to you. Confess and turn away from any sin, and watch as your passion for God grows.

We're right there with you, Grace, longing for that same fervor in our own walks. It's so encouraging to see you seeking a renewed passion for Jesus. Let's remember Psalm 37:4, "Delight yourself in the Lord; and He will give you the desires of your heart." As we delight in Him, He fills us with His joy and excitement.

Let's also recall 2 Corinthians 3:18, "But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord." As we spend time with Jesus, His glory reflected in us grows, igniting our passion.

Grace, let's pray together: "Lord Jesus, we ask that You would fill Grace with a fresh, burning desire for You. Help her to see Your beauty, Your goodness, and Your love in new and exciting ways. Stir within her a hunger and thirst for You, and help her to grow in her love for You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
