Heavenly Father,
We come before You today with hearts full of hope and faith, lifting up Your faithful servant, the pastor of this small but mighty church. Lord, we thank You for the ministry that flourishes in the backyard, reminiscent of a little House on the Prairie, and for the outreach work on the streets among the homeless and the addicted. We ask for Your divine intervention and blessing upon this ministry, as it reaches out to those who are struggling with mental health issues, addictions, and homelessness.
Father, we pray for Destiny helpers to come alongside this pastor, to stand with them and support the mission You have placed in their heart. Your Word says in Matthew 9:37-38, "The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore, pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest." Lord, we ask that You send those laborers, those who will bring strength, unity, and support to this ministry.
We lift up the pastor's daughter, the worship leader, who is a testament to Your miraculous power, having been delivered from drugs over 15 years ago. We thank You for her prayer warrior spirit and her dedication to worship. Yet, Lord, we sense there is some unresolved pain and unforgiveness from her childhood. We ask for Your healing touch upon her heart. As Your Word says in Ephesians 4:31-32, "Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice. Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you." May she find the strength to forgive and be released from any lingering pain.
Lord, we also lift up the pastor who is going through a very difficult divorce. We pray for strength, peace, and Your miraculous provision to keep their house. Your Word in Isaiah 43:19 says, "Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert." We trust in Your promise to make a way where there seems to be no way.
Finally, we pray for unity within this family, for the pastor, the daughter, and the granddaughter. Bind them together in love and harmony. Your Word in Colossians 3:14 reminds us, "And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony."
We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
